WHAT WE DID
In The Ivy is a passion project that I started with my co-founder, Beverly Ponce, in order to create a space for women to share their passions and help to inspire others to find their own. Instead of all creating separate blog pages we came up with the idea of making a group blog talking about the specific topics that we thrived in.
We wanted to make a space where real girls were writing to real girls and felt like their voices are being heard. Our mission is to help busy women find one stop for their passions, interests and prioritizing themselves. We discuss the topics of self care, aesthetics, photography, beauty, plants and food.

Mikayla working with the other blog members worked to craft the vision, mission, logo design, brand guidelines, website design and functionaly, building custom content and copywriting in roder to convey the right message of what the group was about.

In The Ivy was a collective of 6 friends that were looking to create a blog that empowered women through posting content related to food, beauty, wellness, hair, business. etc. The Collective was based in Southern California and they had tasked The Aesthetic Edit with crafting a website that portrayed their style.
